It’s the Caribbean Cruise Anna Nicole Smith Tabloid Shore Excursion!

Photo by Sarah Schmelling. It sounds twisted, we know. And to be fair, we haven’t heard about a cruise ship officially offering such an excursion—yet. But according to a TV news report, many of the gawkers outside the Bahamas courthouse where Larry Birkhead declared his odd sort of paternity victory Tuesday were cruise ship passengers who decided the spectacle should be a part of their vacation. If that’s true, it wouldn’t be the first time tourists had taken a creepy interest in the tabloid story unfolding in the Bahamas.
Reported TMZ.com recently: “Sources tell TMZ that Doctors Hospital, where Dannielynn Stern was born, and where her brother Daniel Smith died three days later, is now a frequent and lucrative stop for taxi drivers in the Bahamas, who bring scores of gawkers from cruise ships and hotels to the driveway of the hospital, whereupon eager visitors actually pose for pictures at the entrance.”
Something tells us this isn’t quite the kind of Bahamavention that tourism officials had in mind.
